Martha’s Vineyard – A Paradise Of Beaches!

I had heard and read a lot about Martha’s Vineyard. So, lately, I decided to do more research on Martha’s Vineyard beaches. I watched a lot of travel video blogs about Martha’s Vineyard beaches on YouTube, and I immediately fell in love with them. And I ended up doing a great deal of mind-traveling to those beautiful, heavenly, exotic beaches of Martha’s Vineyard.

Martha’s Vineyard is an island located in the Cape Cod area of the state of Massachusetts in the United States. The island is rich in vast oceanic landscapes and exotic beaches. It is also known as a ‘Summer Colony’ of lavish resorts and hotels. It is a summer destination for the nature-lovers where one can lose oneself in nature’s true beauty and find tranquility for one’s troubled soul.

During the summertime, from May to September, the temperatures are around 90 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. During the wintertime, from November to February, the temperatures are on the cooler side at around 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. 

No matter what the temperatures are during the summer or winter, all the beach places in Martha’s Vineyard are always cozy and breezy and can turn any season vacation into a season of carnival and celebration.

The island is comprised of some beautiful, peaceful towns/ and each town has exotic beach places enriched with vast blue ocean waters and exotic oceanic landscapes. 

Here are some of the famous beaches in Martha’s Vineyard that I’m adding to my bucket list right away, which you may want to add to yours too if you haven’t already:

1. West Tisbury Town Beach.

I think this beach is the kind of beach shown in the movie The Shawshank Redemption, where Morgan Freeman’s character Red goes to be united with his friend Andy Dufresne (played by Tim Robbins) in the climax scene of that movie. A calm, long beach with blue ocean waves kissing and caressing the sand.

2. Edgartown Lighthouse Beach.

As its name suggests, this beach has a big lighthouse overlooking the blue ocean water and the vast, sandy areas on the beach. The beach is known for recreational activities like swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. It’s a perfect place to immerse yourself in a romantic sunset under the blessing of a big God-like lighthouse.

3. Oak Bluffs Town Beach.

This is a perfect place for people who love relaxing while fishing. The beach offers affordable fish-boat rides to its visitors. The beach also has many exotic fishing piers, which is a perfect setting for romantic beach nights.

4. Chilmark Town Beach.

This beach is enriched in naturally-built, beautiful, rocky hills drenched in and surrounded by crystal clear, pristine ocean waters. The beach-side town area also offers many exotic resorts where you can spend quality family time with your loved ones on a long summer vacation. 5. Aquinnah Beach.

This beach has green, rocky cliffs overlooking the blue, dancing ocean waves. It is a perfect setting for sunbathing, water surfing, and swimming with your family and friends. And even if you are a loner who likes to connect with nature and lose yourself in it, then this is your place.

So, now that I’m done with my mind-traveling, you go ahead and add these exotic beaches of Martha’s Vineyard to your bucket list too. And when you are ready to go, don’t forget to pack your beachwear, digital camera, fishing pole, surfing board, or whatever you want to take with you.

A word of caution — You may be planning for a one or two-week summer vacation, but when you go there, don’t blame me if you end up extending your stay because that is the magic of Martha’s Vineyard — the place that can hold you captive forever in its natural, celestial beauty. 

This is the kind of magic I felt while I was watching those beautiful, captivating travel video logs of Martha’s Vineyard.
