The Most Inspiring Bible Verses For A Better Living

I’m sure you know some of them but what are the most inspiring Bible verses?

Well, before I tell you about these most inspiring verses, let me tell you about what prompted me (a not-so-religious guy) to put together these inspiring verses from the Good Book.

I have never followed any particular religion in my life because I think religions are made by humans. They made Christianity out of Jesus Christ, Mohammedanism (Islam) out of prophet Mohammed, Buddhism out of Buddha, and many other religions made out of such great masters who walked this earth during their time to teach mankind the ways of a righteous living.

But the humans ended up making religions out of such great masters, and these same humans then waged wars against each other to prove the superiority of each other’s religion over one another, which was the opposite of what those great masters had taught them.

I’m ashamed to be a human in saying that these wars are still going on to this day. All of these great masters taught us the ways of compassion, peace, love, and righteousness, but their followers created the religions after them and wreaked havoc on earth.

The Creator of the universe-God or whatever other name you want to call him by is the Supreme Being. He made humans and gave us this human sense and conscience to discern the right from the wrong and to live by what is right, so we can eventually liberate our souls through this journey of human life.

We know that this is God’s world. Everything in this world happens and moves only with his permission. So, please think about this, if God favored a particular religion, or if he was of a particular religion, then why would he allow the people of other religions to be born, enter, and live in his world? This shows that God is God; he is the Creator, and he loves and looks after every soul sent by him on this planet.

God is of no religion; he is just a powerful Creator of the universe. I’m not a religious scholar, but I’ve tried to study various religions my whole life to understand what these religions actually teach us about life.

Every religion has a vast history and significance. And one thing I’ve concluded from my studies of several religions is that every religion teaches us compassion toward each other because we are all humans created by the same Creator of the universe.

Each religious scripture teaches its followers the ways to live a righteous life. Every religion instructs its followers to shun stealing from, hurting, or harming their fellow humans. Each religion cautions the followers about their temporary existence in this human body and that they are not the supreme beings, but only God is.

Whatever religion we may follow or follow no religion at all, we must remember that we are all humans first, the smartest creation of God on his planet. We must treat each other with compassion regardless of our religious, ethnic, or linguistic differences. We are one single human race under one God, the Creator of the Universe, no matter what name we call him by.

I frequently used to go to one church near my college when I was studying there. Although I never knew how to pray in the church, I would still pray with faith in the way I felt right. It would bring me some kind of peace. That feeling was indescribably beautiful. After I finished college, I stopped going to church. I knew who Jesus was and how he lived his life on earth. I was always inspired and moved by his life story of sacrifice. I always felt it was powerful beyond measure.

But like I said, I never followed any religion, nor do I follow it now, and I’m not writing this article to promote any religion either, but only to remind you and me of our true human sense. With that said, now I’m going to talk about my experience with the Bible. I started reading the Bible verses only some 5-6 years ago.

When I was going through some hard times in my life back then, I was becoming hopeless with each day passing. One day I was watching an action movie, and I heard some of the actors in it uttering, “Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for you are with me!” and I could instantly relate my situation to it. I was so moved by these lines that I was instantly filled with hope. So I googled those lines and found out that those lines were from the chapter of Psalms in the Holy Book. So, I downloaded the Bible app on my android phone. And it has stayed on my phone ever since.

I have always been super-inspired by some of the verses from the Good Book (The Bible). The Bible teaches us faith, love, kindness, and righteousness. This Holy Book contains the texts and verses of Jesus Christ’s teachings, gathered and documented many years ago by his followers. And if you believe in righteousness or want to live by righteousness, no matter what religion you are from, you’ll be moved and uplifted by these verses.

The Bible app that I’ve downloaded and installed on my phone sends me daily Bible verses in form of notifications. And whenever I’m sad or I feel hopeless, I receive some or other meaningful and inspiring Bible verse notification out of nowhere and it instantly fills my low spirits with high hopes and positivity. And I’m not just saying this, I mean it.

So, Master Jesus Christ is now my best friend who had always been there by my side to show me the right way whenever I veered off my path of goodness, but it took me so many years to feel his presence in my life.

I’m not born Christian, but I’m a Christ-follower now. Master Jesus Christ is a beautiful friend to have in this life and every life if you believe in him. I’m blessed because his timely guidance has always brought me peace and bliss and led me in the right direction in life whenever I thought I was lost.

It’s like the Lord Jesus has picked me up from the trashcan and put me on the throne of his lap, where there is only bliss, peace, and hope even in times of hardship and struggle. Once again, I’m not promoting a religion here, I’m just sharing with you my beautiful day-to-day experience with Master Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible.

So here are some of the most inspiring Bible verses that will inspire you to have a better life if you are a person of faith and goodness:
